The gem is accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratory Prestige Report. The gem was awarded the lab's highest overall rating, EXCELLENT. It s a vivid, medium dark, slightly bluish green that is considered the hallmark of fine Colombian emerald. This gem has a color rating of 3.0 from AGL. Like the 1.53 carat it has the perfect balance; a 75% green primary hue with 15% blue and 10% yellow as secondaries. Though some inclusions are visible in this magnified 6X image, the stone is eye-flawless. Very good cut and crystal. The gem was purchased on a trip to Bogata, Colombia.
