DESCRIPTION
An exceptional gem. Most unenhanced Burma rubies have tiny faults, but we forgive them because the gem is so beautiful and so very rare.
First, the gem has extraordinary crystal! Exceptional transparency is the hallmark of the finest gems and you rarely see it in Burma ruby. Then there is the color; a pure red, with just the slightest touch of blue, the color known as "pigeon's blood."
The still image is fairly accurate and shows the extraordinary color of the gem. We have added a video to give you a sense of the wonderful brilliance and scintillation.
The gem has lovely symmetry with a full face and no extra fat around the girdle. Dimensions: 6.47x 5.26x3.83mm
