DESCRIPTION
Another tribute to the 1960s by Spectrum award winning artist Donald MacLachlan. The series is called simply "Flower Power."
The artist has created a series of primitive floral tableaux made of pearls, precious stones and multi-colored golds. Each is a beautifully crafted, self contained composition.
The earrings are topped with a pair of 6mm adularia moonstones that are bezel set in gold and framed with matte finished sterling. The dangling tablets have a sterling background that has been plated over with pure silver to provide a misty affect and retard oxidation and framed in yellow gold.
The blossoms are made of tiny balls of bright sterling silver centered by 2mm Ceylon sapphires. The stems and leaves are of multi-colored golds.
